SCUBA DIVING

Join our scuba diving tours and discover what beauty lies beneath the waves.

Marmaris, with its clear Mediterranean blue waters and great underwater visibility offers sensational diving opportunities for divers of any level. Our multi-lingual crew of ten ( including two dive masters and four dive instructors ) are eager to introduce our underwater world to you.

You will experience 2 dives ( each about 30 min. ) with full equipment and the direct supervision of our dive masters. You will also have the chance to swim, snorkel and sunbathe when not diving. Your friends and family, who do not wish to dive can also join the tour as our guests and enjoy all the other facilities except scuba diving.

DIVING FOR BEGINNERS

To reach our first dive-spot takes only half-hour which allows instructor just enough time to give you a comprehensive theoretical instruction about the equipment, safety and underwater sign-language.

Following the practical training and the breathing exercises whilst on the surface, beginners are taken underwater in a hand by hand style. A gradual descent with long enough pauses at each metre allows the beginner to feel confident and comfortable. At the third metre you reach the bottom and can feed the fish while the second instructor takes your pictures and videos ( purchase optional ). By this time you will be relaxed, confident and ready to swim around the island at a deeper level ( max. depth for beginners is 6 metres ). Your instructor adjusts the air in your suit precisely that you stay suspended at the required depth. No gravity, no worries, just admire the beautiful world embracing you…

The six meter dive ( you can stay shallower if you like ) is repeated in the afternoon session at another spot. The second dive involves more exploration and different experiences.

DIVING FOR THE EXPERIENCED

The certified divers along with their buddy-instructors can enjoy deeper levels depending on their certificates. These will comprise two dives (each min. 30 minutes) at two different locations. Marmaris boasts various excellent diving opportunities offering underwater caves, reefs and wrecks for experienced divers.
